After four successful years powering Quaytickets’ technology, SeatGeek expands the platform partnership, onboarding four new clients. Quaytickets is now the official reseller of SeatGeek technology to the arts and cultural sector in the UK.
SeatGeek, the high-growth technology platform transforming the live event experience for fans, teams and venues, today announced an expansion of its partnership with Quaytickets, the primary ticket agency based at The Lowry – Salford Quays. In addition to renewing its deal with SeatGeek, Quaytickets has onboarded four new clients, including the University of Birmingham, South Lanarkshire Council and The Brindley Theatre. Clients, new and old, will leverage SeatGeek’s cutting-edge back-end technology to create, sell, and manage access to their live entertainment ecosystem.
“Four years ago, we launched our partnership with SeatGeek in the hopes of bringing best-in-class technology to our venue, The Lowry,” said Rachel Miller, Director of Audiences, Sales and Marketing at The Lowry. “We also wanted to share that technology with our Quaytickets clients to maxmise ticket sales and audience insights and deliver an industry-leading customer journey. Today, we’ve accomplished that and so much more. We’ve delivered exceptional results and look forward to launching our new service packages into the arts and cultural sector event ticketing market, offering a Software as a Service solution right through to fully managed agency agreements. We can’t wait for this next chapter of our journey as we leverage Quaytickets’ unique position in the market as both a venue operator and ticketing services supplier.”
In 2019, Quaytickets’ clients were among the first to benefit from SeatGeek’s then-latest UK product, allowing them to directly list and sell tickets through distribution partners such as London Theatre Direct and Ingresso. A direct integration with Society of London Theatre tokens has also seen huge benefits. Since then, Quaytickets has continued to evolve alongside SeatGeek, successfully growing its impressive list of partners and representing the company within today’s dynamic UK entertainment space.
“From day one, our partners at Quaytickets and The Lowry have remained passionate, driven and curious – working in lockstep with us to solve the question of how ticketing can be better for fans and those working behind the curtain,” said Peter Joyce, Managing Director of EMEA at SeatGeek. “We could not be more excited to continue working with Quaytickets and its clients to elevate the ticketing experience through our innovative back-end technology for the UK’s most culturally significant institutions.”
Today, with the confirmation of this exciting partnership, Quaytickets’ clients will have access to SeatGeek’s Unify, which will allow them to sell tickets across all platforms, with a focus on a best-in-class mobile experience, manage data on tickets and memberships to deliver enhanced personalized experiences for event attendees, and take advantage of centralized and comprehensive reports that ingest data from all open-distribution sales channels and query builders to power marketing and revenue optimization.
