4th – 6th July at East Lancashire Railway
Sunshine and diesel locomotives, who could ask for more? Join the East Lancashire Railway for this large scale diesel fest.
This all diesel event will be a real treat for those loco about locomotives. Join a number of special guest engines as well as favourites from the East Lancashire Railway’s legendary home fleet for an intensive weekend of all diesel passenger services.
MIF Presents Abida Parveen and Nahid Saddiqui
5th July at The Lowry, Salford Quays
As part of Manchester International Festival ’19, the legendary Sufi singer Abida Parveen is returning to The Lowry for one night only, together with an icon of South Asian classical dance; the dazzling kathak dancer Nahid Siddiqui.
This is sure to be an inspirational evening of sacred music and dance, with a message of peace, love and harmony from two of the greatest devotional artists alive today.

6th July at The Edge, Wigan

The Three Musketeers: A Comedy Adventure

From family favourites Le Navet Bete, award-winning creators of ‘Dracula: The Bloody Truth’ and ‘Dick Tracy’, comes a hilarious new comedy adventure that will have you rolling with laughter from here to the French countryside.
Armed only with a baguette and his questionable steed, join D’Artagnan as he travels to Paris to become a Musketeer. Will things go to plan? Unlikely.
My First Day Out With Thomas
13th – 14th July at Kirklees Light Railway
Thomas, the Number 1 blue engine, and The Fat Controller are travelling all the way from the Island of Sodor to Yorkshire’s Kirklees Light Railway this month for a day of family fun.
My First Day Out With Thomas is perfect for young fans of Thomas the Tank Engine. Take a train ride with a 15-inch narrow gauge Thomas engine, say hello to The Fat Controller and enjoy a variety of Thomas & Friends™ activities.
